CJ Global Express Group Unlimited has committed US$890 million to a regional investment programme designed to accelerate infrastructure, expand hospitality, and create more than 300 jobs across Zimbabwe and Botswana.
In Zimbabwe, the US$540 million allocation will build the backbone for trade and transport: commercial shopping malls to boost retail and SME growth, service stations along key trade corridors, and road infrastructure to strengthen regional connectivity.
In Botswana, the US$350 million allocation is focused on driving tourism and business, anchored by a five-star hotel on the Plumtree-to-Gaborone corridor featuring 300 rooms, a conference centre, and a spa, alongside supporting infrastructure and tourism linkages.
“This investment reflects our commitment to job creation, infrastructure development and economic growth in the region. We are building for the future of our communities.”
Recruitment for the more than 300 new positions opened on 4 August 2026, with applications closing on 20 August 2026. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply early through CGEG's official communication channels.
