Prof. Clemence Jaricha has confirmed the opening of an eighth division under CJ Global Express Group Unlimited, following the acquisition of a building in Chicago, United States, where the new unit will operate as CJ Vodka Premium Spirit, manufacturing spirits for the US market.
Beyond Chicago, Prof. Jaricha said the Group is setting up manufacturing hubs in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and in Lesotho, with negotiations underway with the Zimbabwean government for an additional manufacturing site.
The development ties in with plans to expand further into Zimbabwe through new shopping mall developments along Mutare Road and in Masvingo, Prof. Jaricha's hometown. CGEG, present in 56 countries, already operates seven other divisions spanning malls, construction, beauty spas, transport, and nightlife and restaurants.
